is supported by two very stylised swan necked birds.
Never seen the like of in 25 years!
Origin uncertain but I would think Circa 1910

 A magnificent  richly cut, ?, well, you tell me!
We just thought this a most beautiful piece of glass.
It is very well acid etch intaglio cut in an almost Islamic style
 which was very popular in the late Victorian era
The topmost metal piece unscrews from the other part of the fitting

A pewter cased Continental cranberry glass wine flagon
This is indeed a most unusual piece, the quality of the glass is very good.
As I say the style is continenetal, I suspect German. Circa 1885
