made by one the Stourbridge area's best factories

 It it acid etched with floral decoration and
has an unusual satin finish all surmounted
with a plated Rococco handle and lid
I would say Continental circa 1880

 A magnificent  richly cut, ?, well, you tell me!
We just thought this a most beautiful piece of glass.
It is very well acid etch intaglio cut
in an almost Islamic style
 which was very popular in the late Victorian era
The topmost metal piece unscrews
from the other part of the fitting
